Remember Who Provided for You | This Week’s Torah Reading
Pastor Israel Pochtar was called to full-time ministry in 1995…
What happens when we receive the very things we have been praying for? Deuteronomy offers a challenging reminder: blessing can become dangerous when we forget the One who provided it.
In this week’s Torah reading, the portion of Eikev takes us through Moses’ words to Israel as they prepare to enter the Promised Land. The passage speaks about obedience, testing, humility, provision, fear, victory, and the faithfulness of God. At the heart of the message is a simple but powerful call: remember the Lord.
As this Torah study explores Deuteronomy 7–11, it reflects on the manna in the wilderness, God’s care for His people, the danger of pride, and the command to remember where our strength and provision ultimately come from. The message also draws connections between the Torah and the believer’s life today.
Watch the full Torah study and reflect on what it means to remember God—not only in seasons of need, but also when His blessings are already in our hands.
